When starting out, ride in the gentlest speed mode on a smooth, open surface, and wear a helmet as well as wrist, elbow and knee guards. Avoid wet ground and charge the battery after every use. Store the board in a dry place at a moderate temperature, and regularly check the tightness of the trucks and the condition of the wheels.
